A conversation with ones inner intelligence

Inner Intelligence:  ” So what are you doing?”

Myself: ” I am reading this book called  “Unreasonable Force, New Zealand’s journey towards banning the physical punishment of children” “

Inner Intelligence : “Oh thats not your usual reading material is it?”

Myself: “No its not. My friend sent it to me. Not totally sure if it was as a joke or not but  I am reading it”

Innter Intelligence: “Oh.. Whats the highlighters for?”

Myself: “There for me to highlight points of interest.”

Inner Intelligence: ” So…. shouldnt you be working?”

Myself: “Yup I should be”

Inner Intelligence: “But you’re not?”

Myself: “Nope I am not this book is rather interesting”

Inner  Intelligence: ” Oh? Really? Would you like to share a few things?”

Myself: “Yup heres a quote  “Our people did not hit their  tamariki (children). That only  came about  through colonisation  and through Christianity actually“  - Turiana Tuia, Member of  Parliment.

Inner Intelligence: “Well why is that so important?”

Myself: “Well because if its good enough for the Christian people that means its good enough for God…. Yes?”

Inner Inteligence: “But you dont believe in God?? Do you?”

Myself: “I think thats a topic for another conversation.”

Inner Intelligence: “So… What should I do while you read?”

Myself: “Hmm… go play with some crayons and a colouring book”

Inner Intelligence: “Ook then…”

Sometimes the Inner Intelligence is really just  an Inner Princess or Prince.

This will be quick as i hafta leave for work like… err soon anyway here goes..

A few days ago in the small country of new zealand  a man  was sentenced to supervised visits with his children. Your probably wondering what unspeakable crime this man commited to be reduced to supervised visits arent you… well here it is.. i hope you can handle it. if your a bit squirmish about blood and  guts you might want to look the other way…

HE SMACKED HIS SON 3 TIMES ON THE ARSE.

Thats it. he didnt use a whip, a chain, a jug cord nothing but his bare hand. his reasoning for doing so? his son was being a right little shit.

in other more important news

Most sounds retailers around new zealand have closed shop. and boy am i fucked off. Sounds is a music/dvd store. i was going to go there the other day because i want the new Killswitch engage cd and the guy at the warehouse was dumb when i asked if they had the spice girls dvd/cd packs he said they were comming in on five days which is funny coz they were in the cabnet to the right of him. anyway i couldnt be bothered going into sounds coz i was tired.

and now i cant get my cd because the mainstream stores around palmy wont have it. woo.  oh no wait… hold up….. the store in downtown isnt the sounds store its the cd/dvd store so in theory ITS STILL OPEN OMG!   oh anyway the reasoning for closing is because the extra downloading and the fact that stores like the warehouse and kmart have their cds cheaper. like whatever.  so i was going to say 

“well now thats just forcing me  to download the new killswitch engage cd” but since i have no discovered that the cd and dvd store might not be included in the sounds line up then  I CAN GO THERE yay. 

SO… do you wanna know whats really funny? … killswitch dont even have a new cd. i have no idea where the hell i got the idea that they did. i just googled them  coz i thought “maybe if i know the name of the album i can get it off trademe!” and so i went to myspace and voted for them to come to auckland (hopefully they’ll come with lamb of god! omg.. like heaven!)  and then i went to their  proper homepage and nothing… so i have no idea what im on about.

im pretty sure sounds owns the cd and  dvd store.. i might ring from work.

anyway i best go because i need to leave in 30mins.
