Isnt Life funny?

 On the net there are circles of friends some we get to know  really well. When  someone shares an experience from their life be it a birthday of a child, first day at a job or something like the loss of a friend or family member. People/friends then    respond  someone else will reach out to you in a way that seems so unlike them.  In this way you find out so much more about this person and you gain a new respect for them.  

Words just cant describe it. I dont know what to say.

Also tip of the day: If you leave your finger on the shift key for longer than 8 seconds an angry message comes up and only lets you type in capitals. Cool huh?

Well I am going to go back to my day. So far  the crazy Queen has been kept in hiding  (Although she may get out if MSN messenger doesnt stop  telling me I have 2 emails every 2 minutes! grrr…

Feel Free to call me crazy.

Do you remember the other night when I said I didnt want to go to sleep?  I didnt want to go into my room  or anything….? Remember that?  

Tonight I got a phonecall from my Dad.  My mums good friend (and mum of  two of my mates) is back in hospital.    Last year after mum passed away she found out she had cancer  and it went away however now its back.. 

Me and dad went up to see her and she  had been told today that it doesnt look good for her  the chemo isnt working  at the moment, it could start to work at some point but at the moment its not.

Now feel free to call me crazy…  In mums last few months she didnt like going to sleep at night she hated it , Now I didnt mention it at the time but when I did make it into my room  I heard my mums voice  Yes I know…. 

I’m just thinking here… I may delete this later…  Do you think maybe it was a warning? I didnt want to go to the hospital tonight.. I didnt know if I could face being back in there  but I did  and I only cried a little bit after  I got told the news..

I’m just throwing it out there… Who knows…

Its raining now.. We’re in for a big storm or something I love it when it rains at night. I have washing to do. I wish there was like a magic bubble that could go over my clothes line.. And over me so when I’m outside my hair wont go frizzy and  curly…

Now If  I didnt sound crazier before I think I may have just toped it right there..

I Went to the gym today! Go me!! The stupid treadmill only let me workout for an hour before it tried to get me to cooldown so i turned it off then pretended I Was a new person and went on for another half an hour and then I did a cool down. Hahahaha take that you bastard..  I did find it out how everyone else was running at the speed I was walking..

Also last time I mentioned that they had a squirt bottle and a rag and how I thought it was a bit unhygenic?? Well now they have paper towels and squirty stuff! I dont know how economic the paper towels are but atleast its hygenic.

I did my 200th

After a very long  time I finished my 100 things, I deserve a medal. I shall move it to a page later on.

 

I have some questions for you people.

If you use two products that do the same thing does that mean they cancel each other out or is it the same  as when you have sunscreen?  (if you apply an spf15 then an spf45 over top you’ll only be covered for the 15 not spf of 60. Becareful when doing makeup)

I forgot to tell you! On thursday night at work  I asked if I could go out the staffroom door as my car was parked just outside? I Was told no. However Someone else was allowed to. The reason I am so mad about this is because it was Thursday night at around 9pm  this is when it is dark, with young people out drinking (there are a few pubs around my work and a lot of student houses).   Also  they’re doing construction around my work so it takes about 15mins to navigate the way around the construction then another 10 to get to the car. Good shit right? enough time for someone to come in and attack me. 

I mentioned to my flatmate that I wanted to punch myself in the face and say I couldnt go to work as I got attatcked last night after work.  My flatmate  (a little too eagerly) offered to punch me in the face instead.  Dont worry I didnt actually do it because I know my work doesnt care about me, or anyone.  As long as the money rolls in who gives a fuck?

There was an email floating around the staffroom about how stealing from work is a big no no and if caught doing so you will be treated the same as a thief and will be escorted from the premises  by the cops blah blah  “If we have reason to believe that a person or person’s is stealing from the company we will install cameras around the area where the  person works. These camera’s are so tiny the average person would not be able to find them.”  

Great so they’ll install camera’s to watch us but they wont fix the 10 fluresent lights that are out around the shop,  they wont fix the leaking roof  (its leaking in more than one place) they wont fix the carpet that has stains on from the leaky roof, they wont fix the AC (which doesnt work so we all get hot and stuffy then go outside and freeze our tits off). Yet they will install camera’s. Go figure.

I dont know why they dont just have plain camera’s in view so both customers and staff can see. But nooooooo lets all accuse everyone of being stealers.  I told one of my work mates that my arse isnt actually this big  I use granny undies and shove stuff down them. We had a good laugh.

Its fucken ridiculous. I am slightly concerend about this camera thing. I work alone   mostly which is sweet  I do what I Want when I Want.  This means I text. Im thinking  fuckwit  the manager would not approve of this. *sighs* So im going to hafta stop  texting downstairs and go upstairs which is a pain.

Also Fucken bonus tonight! DOUBLE EPISODE OF SEX AND THE CITY! OH YEAH!!!

I have some goals this week I am going to try to stick to them…

1. Go to gym atleast 3 times a week. (I had to stay at home today coz the flatmate was getting stuff delivered. someone called me mrs (insert flatmates last name) today!)

100.  I share my birthday with  two cousins. I am the youngest born at 12:12pm.

99. Even though I am an only child I have been consstantly compared to my older cousins X and Y who are twins. “why cant you be more like X??” not by my parents but by my loving grandparents. Gosh! ok well Did you know dear nana that while at university far away from all of her family Y lost her virginity, got pregnant, had an abortion, realised that guys liked that she was a virgin, told more guys she was a virgin until the guys started talking to each other and started calling her a slut.  Also Y failed her degree and had to come back  with her family to start and complete her teaching degree.

98.  For christmas when I was younger my Aunty (the mother of X and Y and my cousin who is older than me. lets call her M) used to by M and me exactly the same christmas presents. And if that wasnt bad enough she brought us the same thing two years in a row. So for two christmas’s We got the same thing.

97. When I was younger I droped my baby cousin on the floor.

96. while spending the day with X,Y and M they got me to write a note about my cousin C it was a nasty letter. The parents found it but didnt know who wrote it. I had forgotten about this letter until my mum and aunty mentioned it a few years ago. I never owned up to it.

95.  My father and I do not have a relation ship with his mother (my grandmother) . When I was first born  dad tried to get some of his old toys off of his mother   but she claimed she gave them all away.  This year at my cousins birthday my grandmother gave my cousin a “family heirlom”  which was a peter rabbit egg cup THAT USED TO BE MY FATHERS. Dad and I never said a word to her.

94. I found out on this same day that my grandmother does not like being called “Grandma” . I have vowed to call her grandma.

93. My granddad (grandma’s ex husband) died when i was… 3 or 4?  The most clearest memory  I have is of me putting sand onto his coffin and asking my uncle why he was crying because I could see grandad over in the distance.

77.  Also in primary school I had a friend (shocking yes?)  called RP who had a really… not skinny mother. As a result of this her mother put her on a diet. Yup she was like 7 years old and on a diet.  while her mother ate junk food.

76. The most distinctive memory I have of SS is when RP and I had a HUGE fight over.. something and we werent talking any more but we were still talking to SS. SS would go between me and RP saying that she like which ever one better. If she was with me she would like me better than RP. Eventually we found out and we united and got mad at SS.

75. SS  and RP left shortly after that. SS returned many years later in internediate. I rememberd thinking I knew her from somwhere but couldnt think where. So I went and talked to her. Since then I havent been able to get rid of her have been friends with her. Even now.

74. Out of all my friends I think  I was the only one that actually played barbie dolls for like you know getting married and having babies the others used to run off with the horses.

I think I’ve gotten over most of them. There was the time at highschool when everyone told everyone I liked person T. Then my so called friends  wrote a note on the school cafeterria that I liked person D.  I found this stupid as I didnt like him. He was going out with a friend of mine and people were making fun of him so I told them to cut it out just because you’re different doesnt mean you need to be mad fun of right?  Apparently that meant I liked him.

Also one time I Was saying at a friends place and my pj’s were all twisty uppy and anoying me so I was trying to undo it all by raising my hips and moving my pjs around my friend saw this and said “ew you are so gross can you not do that?”  I had no idea what she was on about. Now im guessing she may have thought i was doing a bit of  self-loving.. I would like to clarify that i was not.

33. What was your favorite thing in Kindy? Dress ups. Eating oranges!! Coz I’d eat the orange then shove the skin in my mouth like it was my smile. Or playing in the sandbox. Or playing house.

31. What was your favourite thing in highschool? Lunchtime!  When friend J got her lience and a car then we’d go get subway or something for lunch.  Study period was good too. When the teachers started respecting us more that was pretty cool too.

I’m back  its like 12am and i should be in bed but for some reason i cant make  myself like go.. Im tired as fuck it hurts  to read some blog pages as they’re too white,  like wordpress is now  and yet i just cant go in there.  its really odd..  im just going to check the date. hmm.. nothing totally specific… have i 4gotten something?  i know my  grandads birthday is/was sumtime this month.. or am i wrong?   that shouldnt be keeping me from going in my room.

DUDE! I totally just saw the best metal band EVER.. ok not  like ever but like they were totally going for gold it was making me sleepy (this is good) so i thought i’d err….  fuck it… download them right?  i love me some limewire BUT NO  they’re a fucken KIWI (new zealand) band. which is super i love kiwi metal bands it means we’re not a bunch of fucken  “christian rock” ( like hello is there such a thing?)   people you know?  *sighs* so i googled them and they have a bebo page and it states they have no EP which means i cant even like offer to go buy their cd because  they dont fucken have one. All i can do is repeatively watch their music video.  if only  i could  put that on my ipod we’d be sweet. but no. i dont know how too…

so somehow i totally just deleted what i’d written. fucken keyboard.   its possibly because i said i disliked my country lol.  if you’re interested the band is called   Cause for alliance and the song is called CIA and  its awesome. I love how metal bands use the foot drum thingee (belive it or not i know how to play the drums i just cant remember the correct termanology for the whats -its)   its nice and soothing..   yeah i find metal soothing. look if you think im weird now clearly you’re a bit slow love. 

does anyone know if that “fictional” band is still around? the one with the monkey and they were like members from other bands and  there was a gorllia or they are the gorrilia?   hmmm interesting what the mind gets up too at 1245am…

My Weekend

Saturday:  The flatmate and I got up reasonably early for a saturday got dressed and went into town.

Our first stop  was the subaru dealer as the flatmate has just gotten a new car and wanted to check on some stuff…    After deciding to take my advice and head towards the parts and service counter we got stoped by a subaru worker…  heres the convo..

“hey guys can I help you with something?”

“Yeah  I just brought a Subaru, I’m the first owner in the country  and  the navigation menu is in japanease I was wondering if you have a disc or  something to get it into english?”

“Oh wow thats strange I’ve never heard of that before. Nar I dont know what you can do.”

“Oh ok  the other thing is one of my back lights is out, I went to fix it but  one side is blacked out by plastic and tape  the other side is fine however.”

“Wow that is really odd.. I think you’d have to talk to someone about that aye. I’m not sure what to do”

“Err… right we’ll just go somewhere else then.”

As we’re walking away I Said a tiny bit too loudly “Wow  I think  he knows less about cars than I do”  

Next stop : We decided to go look at some rentals just to see if we can find a better place than the one we’re currently in. Its nothing to bad just the plumbing isnt exactly hot and we dont have much storage. Yay. So the flatmate found a pretty house and we set off to go look at it.  

We found the place easily enough.. I pointed out that there’s a Rest Home across the road from it.  The flatmate  said “Well its not like they’re gonna be loud or anything you know”   Haha….

The flatmate is drooling over the house…. As was I  when I noticed an old lady walking rather fast down the  drive way making a way for our car so I turn to the flatmate and said “err… the old lady is comming to get us”  The flatmate replied with “Oh no! not the old lady” 

Next thing We know… The old lady is comming right up against  the car,  the flatmate goes to wind down my window when  she just opens the back door and hops in..

The flatmate says “Err… are you ok?”

“I’m fine  thank you”

“Ok so what are you doing in the car?”

“Well I saw you guys and thought I’d come along for a drive”

“(the flatmate trying not to laugh) Well Im sorry but you cant please get out”

“Oh cant I come for a drive?”

At this point the flatmate is laughing too hard so I take over.. Unfortunately I’m one of those people  that will laugh if someone is laughing or cry if someone else is crying even if I dont know why…

“You cant come with us can you please get out?”

“I cant get my knee up”

“Ok can you get out please”

“I’m ninety-five years old give me a minute!”

“Thats fine take your time”

Then we notice a nurse driving down the driveway! Yay someone’s come to get the old bat!!

The nurse takes the old lady and  walks her back up to her room or wherever. We wait til the coast is clear then drive up to chat to the  nurse to make sure she’s  ok. Apparently the old lady is a regular escape artist  as a result  she has  alarm band things on her arm that dont work.

If you’re wondering  if we’re still wanting the house? Well I’m not so sure. What if we had the front door open and she  pops over for a cup of tea??

 

 

Sunday:  Had to work. Joy.  Today was fun actually I put together a stroller and a double stroller (the double stroller was easier than the single stroller go figure). Then a co-worker and I put together a cot and decided to make it look pretty with bedding and some toys. We wanted some bumper thingees but they’re a saftey issue so we dont sell them. Then we wanted a mobile but we couldnt find one of those either.  So I Went over to the toys and got a doll (as the baby, I couldnt find a baby willing to come with me)  and some toys to decorate the cot.  It looks very nice now.  

Had little disruption from management today although one was quite pissy that I was helping out yet we’re supposed to be a team and all but like I cant go help ??  whatever I did it anyway…

Well greys is on like now and its exciting.. the one where  stuff happens!  oooh!!

ANZAC DAY

Before I begin let me tell you a story….

While doing research into  the ANZAC thing I Realised that my date was wrong on my blog. I had it set -12 not +12 funny huh?

 

 ANZAC (25th april)

They shall grow not old,
As we that are left grow old,

Lest we Forget

Thank you to all those that fought.   I am ashamed to admit I’ve only been to one ANZAC parade. I aim to go next year. I would have liked to go this year but sadly someone has to work.  Next year I am going.

Detox: A summary

You may have noticed I stoped posting about my detox. The reason for this was mainly because nothing much was happening it was all ho hum you know? So Now   I will give you my indepth review.

 

So first off..  It can be expencive the pack I got was $80 plus after your 15 days you need to get some healthy bacteria drugs at $33 so firstly make sure your bank balance can hack it.

Start On a weekend if you’re a every day worker. I say this because for a couple of days I felt like shit  apparently this is normal and it means that you did need to do it.   So dont make any social plans for the first few days.

Make sure you READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. I forgot about some pills and as a result I missed some. Didnt effect overall just meant I had some left behind.

It says to take pills morning evening and bedtime, Make sure you do this where possible. I work two evenings a week so I thought I would just take the evening pills before I got home. Dont do that unless you want to be up til 2am  peeing. 

Drink lots of water. Carry a water bottle everywhere you go.  Water is your friend.

This is going to sound gross…. A while on when things inside start to soften up   when you go to pee it may not always end up being a pee. Dont panic! you wont be in the middle of some speech infront of the President and be like “HOLY FUCK I GOTTA GO NOW”  its just like ” Well I need to pee.. No wait… a bit more”

Drink lots of water. I cant say it enough.

Dont start the programme if you’re sick. As you’re not supposed to eat meat and meat has iron n stuff in it that  helps you fight infections.

If you cant not eat meat  then eat chicken and fish. Thats what I did and YES I cooked the chicken.

Dont drink ANY alcohol.  Otherwise you just wasted $80. Seriously.

Dont eat heaps of junk food. Again you just wasted $80. Junkfood sticks inside  you even though you’re doing a detox its not going to help.

If you get headaches, dont reach for the drugs DRNK MORE WATER.  I thought it’d be easy drinking water as I normally do anyway but I trippled my water intake.  YUP.

Be prepared for cravings. Trust me. I had dreams of dancing cheese.

If you’re a caffene freak like I was Ceylon tea will be your new friend. Its tasty. I now have like one coffee a week.

If you’re tummy is making grizzly hissy noises its normal dont worry about it.

If you’re doing full on excercise make sure you drink heaps of water during.  You dont want your insides drying out.

If possible dont exercise outside on a main road with lots of chemicals.

The instructions do say not to use deoderant but like who wants that? If you can find a good deoderant thats free of aluminium then get it. I couldnt find one except the bodyshop’s man deoderant. Not for me so I stuck to my usual  and made sure I didnt over apply like normal.
